Institutional Biography

Dr. Claudio Espejo is a physician specialized in Internal Medicine, Hypertension, and Cardio-Metabolic Disorders, with over 30 years of clinical, scientific, and executive experience across Latin America. He is the founder of Healthcare Scientific Consultancy, where he advises institutions, healthcare systems, and global stakeholders on artificial intelligence, digital health, and evidence-based medical innovation. He formerly held senior leadership positions in multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, Pfizer, Merck Serono, and Sanofi, with a focus on real-world data, stakeholder engagement, and scientific strategy. His research interests include systemic hypertension, diabetes mellitus, lipid disorders, and the clinical integration of AI technologies. He actively contributes to international initiatives on AI safety and governance in the healthcare sector. Dr. Espejo is committed to advancing ethical, intelligent, and equitable health solutions through scientific excellence and strategic vision.
